Research competition – TRA VISIONS 2022

TRA VISIONS 2022 is a competition for young and senior researchers in the field of innovative and sustainable transport.
We are now especially inviting young researchers to take part in the competition and submit an abstract of a concept or idea. Deadline for the first step in the competition, submitting a title and a short abstract, is 30 June 2021.
The top three ideas per mode (road, rail, waterborne, airborne and cross-modality) will be presented at a prestigious ceremony and awarded €5000, €3000, and €2000 at the conference Transport Research Arena, TRA 2022, in Lisbon, Portugal, 14-17 November 2022.

The Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI), is an independent and internationally prominent research institute in the transport sector. Its principal task is to conduct research and development related to infrastructure, traffic and transport. The institute holds the quality management systems certificate ISO 9001 and the environmental management systems certificate ISO 14001. Some of its test methods are also certified by Swedac. VTI has about 200 employees and is located in Linköping (head office), Stockholm, Gothenburg and Lund.
