2026 Strava Metro for Academic Researchers program is now open!

Calling all urban planning, active transportation, and outdoor recreation scholars! Strava Metro is back with the second year of our academic program, supporting researchers and students working on projects that make human-powered transport safer, smarter, and more accessible in their communities.

This initiative supports academic projects that explore transportation, mobility, and community movement. Selected researchers will receive access to the Strava Metro platform, along with support from the Strava team.

The application window runs from September 8 to October 17, 2025.
