ACCTING, an EU-funded project analysing the impact of the European Green Deal policies on vulnerable groups, has launched a call for organisations to implement 10 Pilot Projects addressing inequalities related to the Green Deal, and we believe Pilot action 7: “Green to school: sustainable commutes – Developing and testing sustainable mobility solutions for schools in peripheral areas” could be of interest to your organisation and its network.
Pilot action 7 aims to increase the adoption of sustainable commuting options for school journeys in peripheral areas.
Pilot action 8 aims to connect cycling activism with social justice struggles to promote inclusive and accessible cycling, focusing on vulnerable groups.
Each pilot project may be awarded up to €32,000 and should last up to 12 months. Applicants must be located in the European Union or one of the HORIZON EUROPE Associated Countries.
For this specific pilot action, eligible to apply are not-for-profit organisations (NGOs, civil society organisations, associations, etc.) with a track record of working with schools.
More information can be found here:
The call for applications is open until 8 September 2023.
